Songs in Antioch Kids!

kids-music-class

“Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!” (Psalm 95:1-2)

“… Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord!” (Ephesians 5:19)

Scripture is full of places where individuals and groups of people turn to God with their voices and/or instruments! Music is a very meaningful and expressive way that people can tell God He is amazing. At Antioch Kids, we greatly value our times of music and worship on Sunday mornings!

For the next few months we are focusing on five songs for the elementary-age kids, and five for the preschoolers. We hope that the repetition of these songs will help kids become familiar with them. We want them to retain the true words from the songs and really enjoy singing them from week to week!

The link for each song is posted below in the form of a music video. We hope you have fun watching them with your kiddos, and possibly also learning them so your whole family can sing together! Enjoy!

Our one-year-olds don’t yet attend group worship time, but we have a special set of music just for their classroom! Hidden in my Heart: A Lullaby Journey Through Scripture is a collection of beautiful songs that use Scripture as lyrics. We love it! This album, Volume I, is available for purchase through Amazon. Also available are Volume II and Volume III: A Lullaby Journey Through the Life of Jesus.

We hope this gives you a few ideas of how to continue worshiping God through music in your home!
